Window Lintels

Concrete lintels are the ideal way to complement a window opening and match a window cill. As with the window cills these are also available in a range of standard colours to either blend with contrast to existing masonry or stonework. Lintels can be cast from the normal square section to the quite ornate shape subject to moulding limitations. The appearance of lintels can further enhanced by adding keystones of different designs. Lintels are also available in standard sizes designed to match with standard window openings and to match window cills. Non standard size lintels are also cast to customers specifications. These are cast to the same high standard and available in the usual range of colours. Please note: cast stone lintels are not load bearing.

Concrete window cills are becoming very fashionable again in the building trade to complement the windows of you new home. As with all our products cills are finished to a high standard and wide range of colours are available to either blend in with existing stonework or masonry, or to produce a sometime striking contrast.

Window cills are available in a range of standard sizes or they can be produced to the customers own specifications. Our standard range of window cills are cast in lengths designed to fit standard window openings suitable for off the shelf windows. Cills can be cast with or without stooling depending on building preferences. Stooling cills are particularly useful when building into brickwork or stonework. Standard size window openings are sometimes not built this is where we can design moulds to match a customers own drawings and dimensions. This practice is particular useful when renovation older buildings as windows were never built to a standard size.
